Veterans, Firefighters, Police, and Nurses—heroes in our communities—are often the first to respond in times of need, sacrificing their own comfort and safety for the well-being of others. They carry the weight of their responsibilities with unwavering dedication. Yet, amidst their noble service, their own needs for peace and relaxation often take a back seat.

That’s where we come in. A Little Salt Foundation provides these extraordinary individuals with an opportunity to unwind, recharge, and reconnect with themselves through the serenity of fishing or just a day on the water. Our goal is to offer them a chance to step away from their demanding roles, if only for a brief moment, and experience the therapeutic benefits of being surrounded by nature.

We organize fishing trips to some of the most serene and picturesque locations around Tampa Bay where veterans, firemen, and nurses can cast their lines into calm waters, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy moments of tranquility.  

Beyond the act of fishing itself, these excursions serve as a gesture of gratitude—a heartfelt thank you for their sacrifices and unwavering commitment to our communities. We believe that by providing these experiences, we can make a meaningful difference in their lives, helping to alleviate stress, promote well-being, and remind them that their service is deeply valued.
